About Us

Company History

Bower's Realty Property Management was founded in the late 1970's by Brad & Shirley Bower's.

In 1993, the company was acquired by Roger Chandler, John Smajdek and Natalie Kreizinger with Monica Marquis coming on board as property manager in 1997.

In January 2002, Bower's Property Management (a division of Bower's Realty) was purchased by La Casa Management, Inc., whose corporate officers are Monica Marquis and Earl Lewis. The name was changed to Park Place Realty and Asset Management in 2008.

Monica Marquis has been in the property management field since 1991 and has been a licensed Real Estate agent since 1994. Earl Lewis entered the Real Estate market in 1987 after retiring as a Navy officer with over 25 years of service. He received a MBA degree from the University of San Diego with an emphasis in Management.

Now Park Place Realty & Asset Management can devote all of its energies to full time property management and real estate sales without the distractions of an escrow department.

Park Place Realty & Asset Management will strive to continue the tradition of professional service that it has come to be known for.

PROPERTY PRESERVATION

Before a tenant occupies your home a two part inspection is conducted which includes pictures and a written report.

Over the years we have developed relationships with various tradespeople that we rely on for high quality, low cost work.

When possible we rely on several that we contract to perform routine maintenance and repair work at very reasonable prices.

Bids are taken when considered appropriate or requested by a Homeowner. Copies of invoices for all work performed are included with the owner's monthly statement.

We do not add a handling or surcharge to invoices.Due to the great risk involved, it is our policy to re-key the locks between each occupant. The Homeowner and Bower's Property Management share the responsibility to protect the tenant's health, safety and well being. Re-keying the locks between each tenancy of your home is considered essential.

 

FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING

Our accounting system relies on a property management software program that provides easy to understand monthly statement.

 At year-end, a special account analysis report is provided to the Homeowner for use in preparing income taxes. All monies received from the Homeowner or tenant are placed in a trust account and all disbursements are made from that account.

The rents are collected on monthly basis, due on the first of each month, with a three day grace period. Homeowner checks and statements are mailed on the 10th of each month.
